Trading Enterprises showcases the unrivalled capability of the Jeep range with its Adventure Days
Always looking for ways to add even more excitement to its annual programme of Jeep off-road events, Trading Enterprises developed a brand-new concept by creating a unique, purpose built off-road track at Dubai Festival City that gave Jeep owners, as well as potential customers, the opportunity to experience the complete Jeep model range.
The highly anticipated all-new Jeep Wrangler JL took pride of place at the show alongside the latest generation Jeep Compass. Dubbed ‘Jeep Adventure Days’, the event was held on March 2nd and 3rd, with two distinct off-road tracks set up to replicate tough off-road conditions. One was built specifically to cater to the legendary off-road king - the Jeep Wrangler, with seven different obstacles including articulation, a mud bath, extreme bumps, bridge trailer, rocks and sand pit - to showcase the go anywhere, do anything capability of the Wrangler that has made it such a global icon.
Participants drove their Jeep vehicles around the course with the marshals guiding them through their paces on track. Those not lucky enough to own a Jeep were taken on a ride through the obstacles by a team of off-road experts, giving them the chance to experience Jeep’s legendary off-road prowess.
The event was very popular, with more than 300 cars and 1,000 enthusiastic visitors. Food trucks and entertainment on site, including a bouncy castle, live music, falconry shows, after-sales accessory and camping gear sales outlets, ensured a full day of fun for Jeepers and their families.
The event was a showcase of very effective collaboration between Al-Futtaim group companies; the venue was prepared and made event-ready with the invaluable help of Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate, whilst the creekside venue was transformed into an urban off road track with materials, support and permits provided by the team from AFGRE. The Al-Futtaim Auto Centers team provided great support through FASTFIT, and made all vehicles ready for ride on the custom-built off-road course after a tyre check. The venue was immersed in branding representing the close cooperation between Dubai Festival City, BF GoodRich tyres from ALAC and Trading Enterprises – Jeep.
Mohammad Maktari, Managing Director, Trading Enterprises said: “We are very pleased to have hosted this event with the help of our partner group companies. Trading Enterprises’ teams demonstrated high levels of engagement in hosting Jeep customers, as they extended the opportunity to off-road enthusiasts to test and witness the Jeeps’ unparalleled legendary off-road capability. The all-new Wrangler, set for launch this year, will set new standards in its class, as its focus is now on both off-road and on-road comfort and performance.”
“We would like to thank all partner companies including Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate, Al-Futtaim Auto Centers, and Al-Futtaim ACE for collaborating with us, all of whom contributed enormously to the event’s success. This event reinforces our commitment, and the turnout of visitors and Jeep owners will go on to motivate our teams who serve our loyal customer base, and to widen our share in this segment,” Mohammad concluded.
